COLLISIONS IN TIME
Our footsteps echo on the cold hard stone, their soles scuffed from our sliding steps. We touch the peeling walls as if our fingers can seal its growing cracks, and find ourselves forever caught between all we have made and what has since been left to time.

Every site has its stories. This work encapsulates these instances, cementing them in time. There is an invisibility to the past—thoughts and theories, philosophies and actions, all forfeit to the game of time—tales awaiting their retelling. This work grows with each encounter. Anachronisms that penetrate the present. Currently there are 2 works in the collection: Nowhere/Now Here is an examination of ‘La Sagrada Familia' in Barcelona, Spain detailing how the innovation of 3D printing technology has impacted the century long construction of Gaudi’s Basilica and Geometric Threads, which illustrates Charles Bridge in Prague, Czech Republic and gives allusion to the rise of science over religion during the Reformation.
Each piece confronts the past, connections, traces and fragments drawn in time:
“Thus we cover the universe in stories we have lived.”
- Gaston Bachelard, The Poetics of Space.
